Like every fall, we were so thrilled to start doing our traditions at the end of the year. Carving our pumpkins is one of the favorites to do with the kids. Not only that, anticipating that Halloween is coming puts them in the mood of carving funny faces on their pumpkins.

We made ours on our Canadian thanksgiving day, so we can enjoy this fun tradition with dad too. They enjoyed it and I loved taking lots of pictures of them and documenting those moments. I personally like the smell of fresh pumpkins, and one of my kids smashing seeds and puree… until is all over the house and we know the activity had touched the endpoint, haha!

These family traditions are the flavor of the year, the moments that give them something to remember the most. Family time is the best!
